Since its establishment in 2002, EPC has built experience, expertise and network in vocational standards and curriculum, vocational capacity building, offering high impact vocational training and carrying out job placement for its graduates.<\/h4>\n

2002-2004<\/span><\/h4>\n

  • In 2002, EPC established with its first office in Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur offering the Malaysian Skills Certificate (SKM) in Computer Technician.<\/li>\n
  • EPC moved to its Bandar Seri Putra campus with the first intake of 40 students<\/li>\n
  • In 2004, EPC took over the JPK-accredited centre belonging to Universiti Malaya. Its student number increased to 500. Puan Sri Dr. Habibah Salleh was appointed Principal.<\/li>\n
  • EPC become one of the first centre to offer Malaysian Skills Diploma (DKM) in computer engineering<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/blockquote>\n

    • Tan Sri Datuk Zainol Abidin Abd Rashid replaced Tan Sri Asmat Kamaludin as the chairman<\/li>\n
    • EPC\u00a0started its automotive training centre through a collaboration with Fasfik (M) Sdn. Bhd., a chain of automotive fitting workshops.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/blockquote>\n

        • EPC (Tourism Training Institute)\u00a0developed National Occupational Skills Standards for the hospitality, theme park and tourism sub-sector for Department of Skills Development.<\/li>\n

          • EPC (Green Skills) and Centre of Advanced Instructor and Skills Training (CIAST) offered the Green ICT Strategies, Intelligent Building Maintenance and Solar PV Maintenance training programmes to trainers from public training institutions.<\/li>\n
          • EPC (Tourism Training Institute) launched the first Cultural Heritage Specialist Guide course in collaboration with Ministry of Tourism and Culture and UNESCO Bangkok<\/li>\n
          • EPC (Tourism Training Institute) organised the Merbok community-based tourism initiative and the Bujang Valley for World Heritage movement in collaboration with the Northern Corridor Implementation Authority.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/blockquote>\n
